FAQs

1.)  Why should I hire a calligrapher?
Calligraphy adds a personal and creative touch!

2.) Why should I have calligraphy for my wedding invitation envelopes?
Calligraphy adds a personal and customized touch to your special event.  Most brides are on a strict budget.  However, all brides spend countless hours in planning their special day so that it is perfect.  The envelope for the wedding invitation is just as important as your invitation itself and is the first impression of your guests, regardless of your event!

3.) Why choose a custom color or non-traditional font?
I am very traditional when it comes to the font and actual style of wedding invitations.  The envelope, however, is a different ballgame.  It is a great way to express a little creativity and your personality…even with a classy, traditional invitation tucked inside.  A beautifully, but creative and sometimes colorful, hand written address adds excitement for your guests planning to attend your big day.  I like to have my cake and eat it too!  Don’t you?

4.)  How do I get my guest list to you?
Your guest list must be typed and in alphabetical order.  This list may be typed in an Excel, etc. spreadsheet format or Word Document, etc.

4.)  How much do you charge?
Please see my Pricing page.

5.)  How much time to you need to address my envelopes?
It depends on the number of invitations you are planning to send and the date of your event.

6.)  What other services do you offer?
In addition to my calligraphy, I will stuff, seal, stamp and/or mail your invitations.  The charge is an additional twenty-five cents ($0.25) per envelope/set.
